But as an interior designer turned surface designer, I also keep my eye on color trends each year while balancing them with timeless classics that never go out of style. And this year, one shade is stealing the spotlight: teal.

Why I think Teal is the Color of 2026

For 2026, trend forecasters and interior designers are buzzing about teal—a perfect blue-green blend that captures the calming essence of ocean blues and the lively freshness of lush greenery. Benjamin Moore spotlighted Stained Glass (CSP-685) as a key shade in their 2024 Color Trends palette and its been popping up ever since.
